PAIN DOCTOR™ Therapeutic Light Apps

The first LED light therapy applications designed for the iPhone and iPod.

Our Apps Are Getting New Names

With the launch of our new red light therapy app coming soon, we have decided to re-brand both apps with new names. Since the launch of BluWave, sales have been brisk and several large lighting companies have complained about our app names because they are threatened by the fact that we beat them to it with iPhone light therapy. Since blue wave and red wave are terms used to describe modern light therapy technology, these companies have complained that it's unfair for us to use those terms for the names of our apps.

How To Choose A Name For Your iPhone App

Since the launch of my innovative and controversial iPhone / iPod applications, I've learned so much. First I learned something I already knew, and this iPhone experiment proved me right. Whenever you do anything different or outside the box, you are immediately branded as a maverick by the pioneers of that industry because they feel threatened by innovation. In addition, there are many skeptics out there who refuse to accept new technology if it seems too good to be true, and so they immediately brand you as a scammer without ever trying the product.

Atomic Red™ Pain Relief App Will Be FREE To Prove This Works

On the heels of the unfair and untrue Engadget story about Atomic Blue (formerly BluWave), we have decided to release Atomic Red as a free iPhone application just to prove this technology does work. Again, we are not saying it will replace larger light therapy devices, but for anyone who thinks it doesn't work on some level - then  you are also saying light therapy does not work at all. By offering Atomic Red free of charge, we hope to propel this smart phone light therapy into even better technology down the road as OLED backlit screens hit the market.

For The Skeptics Out There

After reading some good reviews for BluWave, I read a bad one today from a writer at Engadget. I enjoy Engadget by the way, but they are being very unfair to Blu Wave. They wrote this article without giving the app a real try.

BluWave Cracks The Top 100 In iTunes App Store

BluWave is a hit with iPhoners. So far the reviews have been excellent and the app has made it into the top 100 in the Health & Fitness category. In just two days, the BluWave has drawn a big following at the iTunes App Store. Keep those comments and reviews coming.

Relieve Aches & Pains With Focused Red Light

Many clinical studies have shown that focused red light provides significant relief for minor aches and pains associated with arthritis and muscular strain. Red light therapy has also been shown to relieve mouth and jaw pain as well as topical skin conditions including: abrasions, rashes and bug bites. Focused red light is also being used to firm up the elasticity of wrinkled and loose skin.

Winter Is Coming and So Is Seasonal Affective Disorder

As winter approaches, daily sunlight is decreased, and this seasonal change causes light deficiencies that cause fatigue, depression and mood swings. Studies show blue light therapy can relieve the symptoms of seasonal light deficiency. The BluWave iPhone app can help keep your body clock adjusted as the winter months approach. Use BluWave to give your mind and body that needed boost to make this fall and winter season happy, healthy and care free.
